Year of The Black Rainbow is the fifth studio album by American progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria, released in 2010. The album is a prequel to the band’s previous four albums and serves as the origin story of the band’s fictional universe, “The Amory Wars.”
Year of The Black Rainbow features a heavy and experimental sound, combining elements of progressive rock, hard rock, and even some electronic influences.
